Airplane Hotel – Costa Rica
After the Jumbo Hostel in Sweden we have another airplane accommodation, this time in Costa Rica.
The 727 fuselage home for Costa Verde was transported piece by piece from the San Jose airport to its current resting place on a pedestal 50 feet above the beach. Five big trucks were needed to get the plane. It featured 2 bedrooms, tv area, kitchentte Dinning Foyer, Master Bath, and a Wing Balcony, but the best part is the scenic ocean and jungle views from the hard wood deck built atop the planes former right wing.
