A Date With Wine by George Lee
We are all way too busy these days to remember little details of our lives, and the funny part is that we think we do remember them. An example? You invited for dinner at your place that very special friend the other night and popped that good bottle of Nero D’Avola… Then coming home last night from a tough day at work, you were fantasizing about sitting, relaxing and enjoying another glass of that delicious wine. Surprise! The dinner with your friend was last week and the delicious Nero D’Avola, will soon be delicious balsamic vinegar.
New York based designer George Lee knows about these things and came up with a brilliant solution, a cool new product called A Date With Wine. It is basically a wine stopper that tells you when you had opened your wine. This way you can guess whether the wine is still worth drinking or has it been open for too long. The top of the cork comes with a twistable date ring that reminds you the date you had the dinner with your friend. It is not rocket science, but can be useful and at least save you from adding another disappointment to the list, after a tough day.
