Bik.e Foldable Electric Bike by Volkswagen

Popularity of electric bikes is all set for a rise and shine especially with increasing mobility difficulties due to space congestion. Volkswagen revealed this folding electric bike at Auto China 2010. It’s called bik.e  and it looks like there are good chances we’ll see this product in the market relatively soon. Bike.e has a range of 12.5 miles and a top speed of 12.5 mp, which is the fastest speed allowed by electric vehicles for passengers to go without helmets in Germany. The interesting part is that this bike is foldable and can be collapsed down to the size of a spare tire.
