Sarah Illenberger

Defining one category for all the work of Sarah Illenberger is no easy task. The forms and  the visual translations of her themes assume are far too diverse. Here we want to show you a mix of her interesting work including wonderfully stylized food and household objects. Her creations are not generated on a computer but rather by meticulous handwork, sometimes incorporating the most mundane materials.

Vibrant colors, and unusual combination of objects and textures show up throughout her work, as well as diagrammatic shots of everyday objects – But all with the same sense of curiosity and imagination about them.
