H4 by BRIO54

Posted by on Feb 15, 2011 in ARCHITECTURE, AROUND THE WORLD

The H4 house is a 2,171 sq ft,  3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath model that has been specifically designed for very small, narrow and low sloping building lots commonly found in higher density neighborhoods along the shoreline.

This building scores a very tight & highly insulated building envelope, a high efficiency heating, cooling & ventilation system, a high efficiency instant water heater, energy star rated appliances, water sense rated fixtures, as well as dimmer switches & occupancy sensors. In addition, each room offers natural cross ventilation in order to utilize the prevalent shoreline breeze to further reduce utility costs during the interim seasons.

Designed by young design/build firm BRIO54, the H4′s product line prototype is now completed and can be visited in Milford, Connecticut.
