Honda Sabre by Edward Britulescu
Honda gave three young designers to build a custom 2010 Honda VT1300 bike within three month period and a limited budget and two requirements: full on runners and stay true to the core of the production vehicle. Edward Birtulescu, one of the designers, chose the Honda 2010 Sabre as his foundation and created the Sabre “Switchblade” (Pro Drag) To create the professional drag-racing concept, Birtulescu blended features from MotoGP and Formula 1. This bike is about performance with a full carbon fiber dress, three-way adjustable suspension and a single sided swing arm with a 535 chain. The Switchblade along with the other two concepts, The Furious (Chopper) and Slammer (Bagger) debuted at the Long Beach, CA International Motorcycle show in December and will continued to be featured at motorcycle shows nationwide in 2011. And the best part of these concepts is that they are all fully functional.
