The Guest House by PARATELIER

  • This dwelling resembles a modern day cabin on the inside though you would never think so from the outside’s metal paneling. Located in Carvalhal, Portugal, the 115 sqm space is divided into 10 parts, and is composed of wood so to create an environment that is simple and complimentary to the surrounding area. Environmentally friendly and sustainable products such as self-ventilating walls, organic Eco-paint and cork were used in the construction of the Guest House. The Guest House is aesthetically pleasing and with the contrast of the surrounding sand and near by lake.
