Posted by on Jun 6, 2011 in ARCHITECTURE

Japanese, Jun Igarashi Architects has completed ‘House m’ located in the heart of Hokkaido, Japan. Looking at the multi-level structure it seems to be composed of several white boxes. Set off from the other buildings ‘House m’ sits pushed in from the street line. Though located in an urban setting, this house stands out as being the most modern building.

Natural light comes through the sun-windows and illuminates the vast of space. Emphasizing the natural lighting, the interior is finished in white and light-colored wood. A double height hallway holds the interior together. The dinning, living room and kitchen are linearly connected and a private study can be accessed through a lofted platform.
