The Terasek House by JTJ Design

Posted by on Jun 16, 2011 in ARCHITECTURE

The Terasek House was built in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was designed by JTJ Design and was restored using much steel and stone for the walls. This gorgeous house has a calming effect as its interiors were made of the neutral colors of dark/light gray, white, beige and natural wood. The stylistic approach to this home is very simple as the main focus is presented on its light and fresh space.  A feeling of comfort flows through the family room because of its natural wood table and large sofa. The Terasek House exudes relaxation with it’s minimalistic design.

thanks for featuring this house…to give some context to the design it might be interesting to know that this started life as a 1980′s basic Kuala Lumpur terrace unit…. we changed it from 3 bed, to 4 bed, 1 living room to 3 living room, and added a small pool…. I will try to add someextra pictures to help visualise the transformation
