Tower Restoration by Castillio/Miras Arquitectos

Posted by on Jun 29, 2011 in ARCHITECTURE, DESIGN

An observation tower in Huercal-Overa, Spain has just been restored by Spanish-based practice Castillo/Miras Arquitectos. The majestic architecture was brought back to its prestige with a modern twist as it was updated to include better accessibility through the rugged terrain for visitors to enjoy. The gorgeous monolithic design contrasts with the obsolete materials of the stair shaft, yet the structure’s historic design is emphasized.
