Cartoon characters don’t always have to look so cute and cuddly. Jeremy Fish puts out a different approach to our quirky friends with his art show Listen and Learn at the Joshua Liner Gallery. Fish’s art blends a whole list of bold, fun, yet dark characters that tell a satrical story from each piece. There’s an entire diversity of subjects including strippers, athletes, skateboarders and more all told in an emphatic tale. Each piece of art told their story not only with the sense of sight, but with the sense of sound as they all had a short, vibrant story broadcasted through an installed MP3 player.
