Culinary Landscape

Posted by on Jul 19, 2011 in DESIGN

Industrial design student at the School of Art and Design in Saint Etienne, Sébastien Cluzel created “Culinary Landscape/Paysage Culinaire.” Created to question our interactions with food and how we prepare it, this kitchen workstation is definitely a must see and use. Having all the cooking necessities in one structure you wont have to leave this island to grab anything other than a chair.

Knives, cutting boards and a form fitting stove are just some of the features found within Culinary Landscape. Being environmentally conscience, Cluzel built this out of natural elements: wood and volcanic stone. The length and rounded edges of this work station encourages collaborative cooking efforts since multiple users can easily access each part of this station.
