Wolf Creek View Cabin
Sitting in a lightly treed meadow is this airy space of the Wolf Creek View Cabin. Surrounded by the mountains Eastern Washington this house has great views inside and out. Designed as two interlocking “L” shapes this space is more than breathtaking.
With a covered patio in the intersection of one “L” and a courtyard in the other there are several places to relax. One especially is right smack-dab-in-the-middle. A miniature garden with planters and lighting along the walkway, this space is great for clearing your head.
Balance Architects successfully weaved a peaceful environment into a beautiful landscape. The building was built low so everyone can enjoy the views of the surrounding area. The roof line and walls extend into the landscape and the mountain profiles peak out in the horizon. The steel sidings blend in with the natural vegetation and provide a low maintenance exterior. While the light screening of the space provides shelter from the seasonal winds and privacy from the neighboring houses.
