Rejuvenated Loft

Posted by on Aug 4, 2011 in ARCHITECTURE, HOME DECOR

After a horrible fire about a year ago Frédéric Flanquart redesigned this loft, so to rejuvenate the luster that was lost among the rubble. The challenge: design a shell-free space that is new and ambitious. The end product: a simple and sophisticated blend of modern and retro. Something new inside something old.

The desire to have wide open space and an abundance of storage were both fulfilled, something that isn’t too easy to do as they usually engulf one another. After 18 months of fiddling and fussing the space was completed. The curves, lines and geometric shapes make for fun and inviting space that would be great for hosting parties as the roof of this loft has a 360° view of Paris.
