The result of a collaboration between furniture designers Arno Mathies and Max Frommeld, ‘Fold a Boat’ is a seamless folding boat made of one single sheet of plastic. The objective of the project was “to create an accessible flat-pack leisure boat designed for flat water environments like canals and lakes. The project came out of a paper-folding workshop that focused on generating 3D forms out of 2D drawings.”
