A tropical paradise harmoniously harbors a quaint timber abode in Thailand. The lake house by the Openbox Company is comfortably tucked away in the natural greenery of the environment as the wild grass, berms, and trees wraps around the entrance court with a series of tall trees in the center. Through the large timber panel centered in a line of walls opens up an awe-inspiring view of the lake.

A long overhang protects the sliding panels from rain and excessive sunlight so that residents can open them even through the rain. The sweltering humidity and natural rainforest flow are guarded by the raised ground surface of each level from this single storey home.

The tropical wonders can also bring about pesky problems as small animals can live in gaps and holes within the structure with the added nuisance of termite attacks. Yet, this home was created with reinforcements as Teak timber was used to prevent the insects advances and sustainable concrete, brick, and plaster to keep the critters out.
