Rounded Loft by A1 Architects
The Rounded Loft in Prague, Czech Republic is an eclectic design of boundless space even with its narrow foundation. Designed by A1 Architects, a fluidity of interaction is integrated from within as the common rooms are all connected starting with the entrance hall slightly continuing to the living room and kitchen, which opens up to an upper gallery used for guests.
Some of the interior’s corners were rounded off protruding a feel of freedom as the staircase combined with the fireplace and library climbs up the rounded corner.
Three bedrooms with a study room and storage spaces are embodied as built in furniture next to the main continuous space. A motif of sensuality and purity was integrated within this project as beige large format tiles were used on the attic floors and the kitchen counter was made from black granite stone.
