The Thrive Hive keeps bees happily buzzing as its a simple home naturally designed to suit their needs. Tom Back created a home perfectly fit for their pure form. Traditional hand-weaving techniques were used to construct the structural framework. The weaving and materials secure a well-insulated environment within the hollow trunk form while also creating an ease for communities and households to partake in beekeeping.
