House in Savion by Alex Meitlis

Posted by on Sep 2, 2011 in ARCHITECTURE

‘House in Savion’ is an architectural wonder with its crisp white exterior and remarkabe outdoor spaces located outside of Tel Aviv, Israel. Designed by Alex Meitlis, this structure is enclosed by a wooden plank wraparound veranda and is surrounded by walls of various heights. Sunlight delightfully provides warmth during the winter months while shade covers inhabitants in the summer through the strategically installed facade. A continuous living room, dining area, and a kitchen accommodate the ground floor. Large operable windows introduce the beautiful outdoor environment of garden space, an open lawn and a swimming pool into the abode creatively forming a pure communication between the atmosphere and the framework of its natural surroundings.
