O’Bon, Pencils Made From Recycled Newspapers

Posted by on Sep 22, 2011 in AROUND THE WEB, GOOD CAUSES

Instead of the bland, yellow-ish pencils go forthe tree-free pencils! All O’BON pencils are made from recycled newspaper, tightly rolled around our excellent graphite. The result is a longer-lasting pencil that is fun and easy to sharpen. The benefits of using newspaper for the bodies of these pencils go beyond just saving trees, it’s also important to note that the processing of the paper instead of wood uses less energy and resources, plus it produces much less waste.
