Posted by on Sep 28, 2011 in DESIGN, NEWS AND EVENTS | No Comments

Ford has perfected the art of a joy ride with their intricate replica of their new Explorer in Lego bricks. The full sized model was created by 22 designers over the span of 2,500 hours. It weighs 2,654 pounds and is made up of 380,000 bricks. The replica was presented at Ford’s new Lego-land theme park outside of Orlando after debuting it at their Chicago assembly plant. This Explorer will allow kids to get behind the wheel at their own scale vehicle and ride at a maximum speed of three miles per hour as an attraction at Lego-land.
