Garden Pavilion by BLOOT Architecture

Free flowing space is a key ingredient within the charming elements of the Garden Pavilion in Voorburg, Netherlands. Developed by BLOOT Architecture, it sustains the flexibility of function as an office space and guest accommodation. The studio and old shed are separated to create a sequence of open spaces in the garden while the untreated timber on the facade blends into it. A sense of privacy forms with the sliding blinds placed on the facade. The small space appears more spacious as the kitchen and bathroom are placed on the colored wall as the positioning of the windows detaches itself from the rest of the building. A long wall brings more space into the garden studio allowing for an open-plan area as it is used entirely for storage space.
