Atelier Tekuto brought architecture back to nature within the make up of its construction with their venture “The Earth Block Project.” The architects strived to focus on “material not to be influenced by economy” and environmentally friendly material. With Tekuto’s recent attention to environmental sustainability using natural materials like wood, earth and brick, this project uses magnesium oxide derived from the ocean and the land. The main concept of this design is to use material that can return back to nature 100% while being stronger than any existing soil construction material.
