Les Jenemies Residence by Mooarc Studio

This fascinating house by Mooarc studio is a stunning blend between contemporary family home and traditional setting. A simple glass element joins together a traditional Guernsey barn and it’s workshop. Both parts of the dwelling were renovated, the old workshop became a studio and kitchen, the existing barn has been transformed into a family home. The project uses traditionally crafted materials in modern ways, such as polished concrete, lime render and reclaimed timber; recycled scaffold boards were used for the kitchen cabinets.
