The Pearl by Solaleya

Posted by on Oct 25, 2011 in ARCHITECTURE

A harmonious blend  between a home and its environment is represented supremely with the Pearl as it upholds superior advantages in energy efficiency and high interaction with its surroundings. After designing another delightfully similar structure, Solaleya architects created this structure with the ability to take in the sun’s rays through its large bay windows  to heat the home  during the winter while its adapted roof protects the home during the hot days of summer. The thick wooden arches holding up the roof’s shape also creates a strong resistance against earthquakes and high winds. The Pearl embraces natural light as the entire dwelling can be filled up with it allowing residents a full 180 degree view of the breathtaking sights outside.
