San Lorenzo, Stunning Lodge in The Italian Alps

Posted by on Oct 27, 2011 in ARCHITECTURE, ITALIANS DO IT BETTER

The San Lorenzo Mountain Lodge designed by Dellago Architekten is harmoniously located in the nature of the forests of  Val Pusteria (South Tyrol Italy), at 1200 meters high (4000 feet). This pearl of traditional Italian architecture  is an ancient mountain dwell now transformed into a cozy lodge ready to offer its discerning guests new experiences, unexpected pleasures and exclusive moments.
If from the outside this centuries old hunting residence surprises with the harmony of its structure and the attention to details, few steps inside the main door will be enough to welcome its visitors with a warm atmosphere and casual elegance giving an immediate feeling of pleasant abandonment.
The vaulted ceiling reminiscent of the noble lineage of traditional wooden chalets and the structure of most of the interior are the predominant characteristic and distinguishing elements of the San Lorenzo. From the typical parlor to the kitchen, turned into living rooms from the corridors exclusive to the relaxation area with breathtaking views of the valley, all the elements and spaces speak a language of authenticity.
