Estetica Domestica Photo Series by Marta Soul

Photographer Marta Soul also founding member of the contemporary collective nophoto has a nice series of images titled Estética Doméstica in which she focuses on ordinary domestic objects  and shows them in an imaginary formal context to make them seem more sophisticated.

This series of photographs i an elegy to superficiality and pretence: the importance of appearance. All objects have a symbolic and fictional value, and they adapt to different backgrounds. The idea is to create a delusion that reaches an aesthetic beauty and surpasses the trivial reality of things.
