The Yunak Evleri Cappadocia Cave Hotel

Posted by on Nov 28, 2011 in ARCHITECTURE

The Yunak Evleri Cave Hotel upholds an elegant charm while almost becoming a part of the rock formations surrounding it in Urgup, Turkey. Located in Cappadocia’s magical landscape of fairy chimneys, the Yunak Evleri is literally carved into a mountain cliff, six cave houses dating back to the 5th and 6th century were converted into an unconventional, yet truly unique 30-room, 5-star hotel. Each underground room has been decked out in Ottoman era antiques and topped off with a personal spa and patio. A peaceful balance of comfort, modernity and tradition.
