Lotty Lindeman has collaborated with Dutch designer Wouter Scheublin to create a chair that’s purely minimalistic and unique in its form. This project is the designers first together as they share a studio in Eindhoven, The Netherlands where they embark on creations brimming with their craftsmanship and attention for details.

    I agree with you on the fact that the definition of “minimalistic” can be not completely appropriated on this one. As per the “ungainly” I wouldn’t call it that either since I have never actually experienced the piece in person. Have you?

    How is that even remotely minimalistic?

    There is so much going on, cuts, cords, screws, assembly, material.

    Minimalism is solid pieces, seamless, this thing is just ungainly.
