The Thermalbad Spa in Zurich, Switzerland

Posted by on Dec 15, 2011 in ARCHITECTURE | No Comments

The Hurlimann Brewery, one of Zurich most significant industrial monuments, has been reincarnated to serve another purpose as a luxurious spa called the Thermalbad. The architectural elements of the old brewery were preserved but also transformed to host an ample amount of aquatic pleasures in their pools, relaxation rooms and massage spas. The roof overlooks the expansive beauty of the city and is now a breathtaking angular shaped swimming pool with warm temperatures that can reach up to 106 degrees.
