Villa Midgard by DAPstockholm

  • The geometric, mahogany colored dream of the Villa Midgard welcomes its residents with an abundant dose of  charm in Stockholm, Sweden. DAPstockholm created a home of ample space with large windows to allow views of the overlooking countryside. Its seven different front surfaces are made predominantly from weathering steel aka Cor-Ten. The second floor hovers above the entrance while creating shade and protection for the garden. A lovely pool made of dark concrete sits on the edge of this level. The ground floor is made up of slate and limestone stairs. Nature becomes a part of the house since its highest ceiling is covered with grass.
