The Chinese creative agency Senseteam presented their latest work made of currencies from all around the world. Cutting apart and recomposing these bills represent the study of identity and cultural desires that link wealth, branding and human expressions and ethnicity. The different currencies resemble the value of particular nations and its financial place in the world; it reflects the subtle relationships and influences across money, desire, society, nations and human beings. Looking past the idea that an individual is only valued by one’s financial worth, in these portraits the characters are created with multiple layers of colorful bills that further explains not only the international flow of money, but the exchange of culture and humanity.
