House Arc by Bellomo Architects

  • The cozy and curvaceous confines of the “House Arc” can only intensify the remarkable components of what this house can do.  Bellomo Architects intended to build a structure ready to aid people from the unpredictable forces of nature by replacing homes unsuitable to survive natural disasters. Probably one of the only few homes that can fit into a storage box, this prefab housing system can be flat packed and shipped. Weighing only 3,000 pounds, its shape is formed from a lightweight frame made of steel tubes. Its impressive ability to withstand the destructive nature of strong tropical weather also comes with some sustainable elements. This house has a solar energy generated roof with large windows that allow light and air to spread throughout the interior.
