Posted by on Feb 1, 2012 in ARCHITECTURE, AROUND THE WORLD

Located in Films, Switzerland this pod hotel has three pod houses in a small valley. Since Switzerland is looking to develop a universal model of more sustainable tourism, these low impact accommodations are located in an untouched and pristine alpine environment. The Swiss company Robust Outdoor Brands has been building this ultimate escape for nature lovers. The PODs provide the basic essentials in an isolated structure suitable for both winter and summer. The truly stunning surroundings of these Pod houses make this hotel the most ideal getaway spot for those who look for an experience of a life time yet also affordable at the same time, especially skiers. The pods come in two sizes that can fit up to 2 people, complete with a fire place outside.
