Photographer and amateur contortionist Sam Schubert released her latest series of photographs titled “Learning to love the state I am in”, this collection consists of  photos of her melding her body to the urban landscapes in a playful self-portrait manner. She explained “Having spent my childhood amidst the dense and beautiful woods of upstate New York, I developed a keen interest in being part of and observing the natural environment and the unconscious repetition that surrounds oneself.” The series takes place in Baltimore; she focused more on integrating oneself into the materials and environments found around the city.
