The Ochre Barn by Carl Turner Architects

Posted by on Feb 28, 2012 in ARCHITECTURE

After being left behind from neglect, the Ochre Barn now has a new role of providing comfort and shelter to residents in Norfolk, England. Carl Turner Architects kept the former skeleton of the exterior by using reclaimed roof tiles to give off a vintage appearance. An array of bathrooms and bedrooms are arranged throughout the interior. Large furniture and pod rooms create an intimate setting in the home’s open spaces while reclaimed pine and oriented strand boards evoke an industrial presence.
