Car lovers from all over the world are gathering in Modena for the new Casa Enzo Ferrari Museum that’s dedicated to the emblematic figure of the history of the car. Designed by London architects Future Systems founded by Jan Kaplicky, this project is made up of two separate areas. One is inside Enzo Ferrari’s birthplace, the other is a new gallery dedicated to the Maserati adjacent to the existing one. A yellow curved aluminum shell makes up the roof; it’s designed with the intention of looking like shiny bodywork at the same time capable of natural ventilation and lighting. The color yellow was chosen because it is the institutional color of Modena as well as the signature color of the Ferrari stable.
