A modest dream pad nestled in the historic center of Ljubljana, Slovenia embraces the comforts of open spaces and elevated rooms. Designed by OFIS Architects, this home resides inside a five storey residential block dating back from 1902. The apartment brings out a unified presence comprised of smaller rooms through its continuous circulation of space. Storage and furniture become each other after they were combined into the floors and walls using materials to link each room. Steps to the sleeping and bath areas conceal the additional storage space. The organic nature of the original structure was maintained through its vintage doors, windows and details.
