Zero, Swedish lighting design studio, has launched 13 impressive new designs of lamps at the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair show last week. These lamps shine with technological innovation through their eclectic special fabrics and materials. However, there were four standout lights that sparkled with a special flair as some of our top picks of the collection. Par, by Broberg & Ridderstråle, is a lamp with a warm, glare-free light and a molten glass lens that’s shaped like its casing to cover the lamp holder and stand. Elegant and classy, the Tutu lamp designed by Iskos-Berlin was inspired by a ballerina’s skirt made from layers of tulle, however, the lamp was created from polyester blanketing made from recycled plastic bottles. Thomas Bernstrand’s the Buoy lamp was made to mimic the form of fisherman’s gear while his Poker lamp expels a clear beam of light to separate space underneath and around it.
