The Gelukstraat House by Dierendonck Blanke

Posted by on Mar 19, 2012 in ARCHITECTURE

Squeezed between two narrow buildings, the Gelukstraat home borders a building plot and an apartment in Ghent, Belgium. Dierendonck Blanke Architecten created a modern reside of comfort in a confined extension to another apartment. The first floor includes an atelier that’s connected through a small courtyard with the owner’s house and with the entrance to the main apartment. The stairs leading to the upper floor was placed in the living room to optimize the circulation throughout the home.
