10 Ken House by Coordinate House NOGAMI

The 10 Ken House located in Ehime, Japan, built in contemporary Japanese style while keeping some nostalgic elements around the house. The residence is designed by Coordinate House NOGAMI to be connected to the main house using a common parking lot entrance, made up of various different structures the interior is made to have an exterior feel. Such as a private space that feels public, a hall that feels like an avenue, and a space where children can run around freely. Paint made from natural materials is used on the stucco walls, the structural materials include cypress, cedar, local chestnut and the flooring is pine and birch. A wooden louver is fit into the door pocket to ensure privacy, giving clients room for adjustment according to their desired wind level and lighting.
