French architect Maurice Padovani redesigned the interiors of Le Prado located near the beaches of the Prado in Marseilles, France. This formerly small and cluttered home is put through some major makeover processes, the young family agreed to have the two children share the same room therefore the space is freed up from all the previous partitions. The false ceiling reveals a rich and spacious structural frame work. The parents’ bedroom is open to the living room and accessible by a metal stairway. The main wall’s top is entirely open and the old staircase that used to be external is now integrated to the house’s volume due to the newly installed galvanized steel bays. By making some daring changes, the home is now not only tasteful but de-cluttered and family friendly.
