Located in Stuttgart, Germany the Oberen Berg House was completed in 2007 by Alexander Brenner Architects. This three story contemporary home is a beautiful example of how sparse modernism can be completely inviting and radiate warmth.  From the North East entrance the floor to ceiling glazing facing southwest opens up to the garden, its occupants can look out over the pool and across the valley towards the hills opposite. If necessary the house can be divided up into units of varying sizes without major construction, its space can be utilized with maximum flexibility and it allows for every style of living and family situation. A large surface solar system is located on the roof working together with a geothermal heat pump to complete the energy system.
