Harley-Davidson Stellalpina by Roberto Rossi

Posted by on May 4, 2012 in ITALIANS DO IT BETTER, TWO WHEELS

Italian Harley dealer Roberto Rossi, who also owns a shop with its own exclusive museum of classic motorcycles, took a 2004 Harley-Davidson XL1200 Sportster and left it chock full of power and a real swag for the mountain roads. He worked the tank to be set lower and further back and shortened the rear subframe. He styled out with Firestone scrambler tires, a new Bates front light and a modified Softtail fitment back fender. It’s now regenerated form Stellalpina (Italian for edelweiss) carries its weight lower to make riding the alpine roads of the mountains a breeze.

“The top of the mountain now is closer,” says Rossi.
