The Beer Moth – An Unusual Sleeping Experience

Posted by on May 7, 2012 in ARCHITECTURE, FOUR WHEELS

The Beer Moth; When I peeped this title, I didn’t expect it to be something so extraordinary. It’s an amazing transformation of a 1956 Fire Service truck into a guest room for two. The designer, Walter, took the old Conmer Q4 from the Manston Fire Muesum in Kent and brought it to its new home on the Inshriach House grounds in Inverness-shire Scotland. He put a oak parquet floor, a snooker table slate for a hearth and a fire escape for the staircase into the resides of this space. This unusual room also features a Victorian double bed, a door from an old cottage and the former back wall of a doghouse. Vacationers can book a room on the Beer Moth through the Canopy & Stars and enjoy this exceptionally bizarre place.
