The Remake: Biuta Motorcycle by Carlo Roscio

Posted by on May 22, 2012 in ITALIANS DO IT BETTER, TWO WHEELS

For anyone who knows the 2003 Ducati Multistrada would never believe that this beauty, the Biuta, (which means naked in the Italian dialect of Lombardia) was actually remade from one. From the town of Pavia, Italy, bike builder Carlo Roscio and his brother remodeled the specs leaving only the two-cylinder 1000 DS engine, the gas tank and its original frame. The headlight is now a Yamaha MT-03 and its tail, recreated from carbon fiber, is modeled on the Aprillia RSV unit. The brothers added a side-mounted oil cooler which is a common racecar part with a hand-made sinuous exhaust from Zard. Through all these changes, the Biuta is one fantastic ride resembling some of the classic qualities of its origin but with a whole new look and feel… Amazing. Check the building process here.
