Currently in the basement of the always interesting Dover Street Market is an even more interesting exhibit pair: jewelry label Bunney and photographer Derek Ridgers. A glance over the display of exclusive cufflinks and limited edition photo prints—and even a one-of Lewis Leather’s jacket for good measure—the curatorial connection isn’t immediately seen.

But as it turns out, these two London fixtures speak “a language that goes beyond fashion and beyond trend”, notes Jason Jules, who worked with the two on their first paper collaboration. While Bunney puts his contemporary stamp on classic pieces, Ridgers captures “expression through style” and individuals communicating “powerful statements using the body—clothes, hair, tattoos—as the medium”.

The exhibit runs from June 7-21.
