Pop Plastic by Donatas Zukaukas

Fascinated by the unusual design of art made from paper, Donatas Zukaukas was inspired to make these incredible decorative objects called Pop Plastic. He wanted to change paper’s normal function by experimenting with it in a creative process. He discovered that paper has a variety of expressions and was marveled by its natural color, lacework, form, material and texture. In the end, he created these handmade objects from a paper mass mixed with glue that was dried and then processed to get similar characteristics of wood.
