La Nave Ancotera by Parra + Edwards

Posted by on Jul 2, 2012 in ARCHITECTURE

A bachelor pad indeed, La Nave Anacotera provides absolute flexibility and space for seeker of peace and tranquility. In La Reina, Santiago, Chile, this home designed by Parra + Edwards Architecture contains a space for both meditation, work and rest. Its terrace opens up to a sunny northern space and is open for use during the summer months where the large brown leaves provide shade. White walls and floors make up the inside creating a continuous vibe of cleanliness and purity. The workshop space almost floats above in its location encircled by the foliage of the trees. Its exterior is covered in a wooden palillaje that mimics the lush background of its environment.
