Sandscape Art Installations by Evewright

Posted by on Jul 10, 2012 in ART

Simply amazing. London based artist Evewright has been creating this live experimental installation with  participation of the community called ‘Walking Drawings’ on the sandscapes of the British coastline for the past eight years. Using a rotavator to dig deep into the sand to create these huge perfect circles, Evewright made this lovely sand art into three parts. Two of these parts were brought to life by capturing it on film for two days. Horses and their riders followed a path outlined by Evewright through the strong 60 mph winds on day one. Groups of people wearing blue jackets from Cumbria, Lancaster and London walked this creative trail on day two.
